LAS CRUCES -- Robin Mack began work August 7 as the Luna County home economist with New Mexico State University's Cooperative Extension Service.
Mack will provide guidance and leadership for Extension education youth programs, including 4-H, at the county level. She also will recruit and train volunteer leaders for adult and youth groups.
Mack, a Raton native, received her bachelor's degree in home economics from NMSU in May 1995. She received minors in family, child and consumer science, and clothing textiles and fashion merchandising.
As a student, she worked for 4-H, developing curriculums for 5- to 8-year-old children in the Cloverbuds program. She also was involved in Collegiate 4-H and the FarmHouse fraternity.
Mack is the daughter of Fred and Virginia Mack of Raton.
