The New Mexico State University School of Nursing is exploring the feasibility of developing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree concentration in nurse anesthesiology that would focus on rural health and health disparities. It would be the first program of its kind in New Mexico.

New Mexico State University’s Student Success Center and Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation along with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and The Bridge of Southern New Mexico will host a virtual HSF College 101 workshop from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 24. The free, bilingual, three-hour workshop college will be held on Zoom to help middle and high school students and their families learn more about how to prepare for college.
