NM 4-H Council Officers Announced for 1995-96

LAS CRUCES -- New Mexico 4-H council officers were elected during the state 4-H conference July 17-20 at New Mexico State University, forming the state 4-H leadership team for 1995-96.

The council officers, who were elected by 4-H members at the conference, will travel across the state to present leadership workshops at the request of counties and districts. They will also coordinate and preside over the evening sessions of the state 4-H conference next year. The officers will represent New Mexico at the Western 4-H Leadership Congress, a regional meeting in Utah in December.

The council officers are Kerry Griffiths of Luna County, president; Aaron Dickson of Curry County, vice president; Daniel Gerard of Socorro County, secretary; Mixie Siepel of Hidalgo County, treasurer; Galen Hutchins of Curry County, reporter; Katie Huber of Valencia County, parliamentarian; and Will Neish of Torrance County, song/recreation leader. Kristin Wilton, Lea County 4-H home economist, will serve as their advisor.
