LAS CRUCES--Sean M. Moore of Corrales began work Feb. 1 as Sandoval County's 4-H and agricultural agent with New Mexico State University's Cooperative Extension Service.
Moore, a former 4-H'er who showed horses, said he thinks he'll like his new job because his duties match his interests. "I really like working with kids and animals," he said.

He received a bachelor's degree in animal science from NMSU in 1997. Moore is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Moore enjoys playing and coaching soccer and worked as the freshman soccer coach for Cibola High School in Albuquerque from August to December in 1993. He plays indoor and outdoor soccer with a league in Albuquerque.
In his spare time, Moore enjoys skiing, hunting and fishing.
