LAS CRUCES -- Ernie Mills, Santa Fe political reporter, will act as master of ceremonies in the Round House as Gov. Gary Johnson proclaims New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service Day at the Legislature on Jan. 22 at 10:45 a.m. in the Rotunda.
Other speakers will include Raymond Sanchez, speaker of the House of Representatives; Blake Curtis, president of the Extension Support Council; and students representing 4-H, an NMSU Extension program, and NMSU's College of Agriculture and Home Economics.
The Extension Support Council, advocates for the Cooperative Extension Service, will host displays in the west gallery off the Rotunda from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
