A speech by Martin A. Regalia, vice president for economic and tax policy and chief economist of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, at New Mexico State University has been canceled. The event was scheduled for 3:30, Feb. 15 in the Corbett Center Auditorium at NMSU.
Regalia is unavailable because a winter storm has canceled flights out of Washington, D.C.
Regalia was to speak about the economy and what Americans need to do to stay competitive as part of the Garrey E. and Katherine T. Carruthers Speaker Series in Economic Development.
The next presenter, Julie Dill, group executive - investor relations and chief communications officer for Duke Energy, is scheduled to speak March 29.
The presentations are free and open to the public.
