Aggie Memorial ceremony to be held May 1

New Mexico State University will host the annual Aggie Memorial ceremony to remember NMSU students, employees and alumni who have died in the past year. The ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the Spiritual Center. The ceremony, which is in its seventh year, is open to the public.

The Spiritual Center is located on NMSU’s International Mall, west of the Educational Services Building and the Pan American Center, near the university’s duck pond. Public parking is available in Lot 27, which is north of the Educational Services Building.

“Aggie Memorial is an amazing tradition here at New Mexico State University. It is a time to come together to remember our fellow Aggies and share memories and experiences of them,” said Will Waller, NMSU acting dean of students.

In addition to honoring students, employees and alumni, Renay Scott, NMSU’s vice president for student success, will speak to attendees.
