The 2019 LCIFF will be the fourth year for the festival with as many as 10,000 people expected to attend bringing an estimated $2 million to the Las Cruces economy.

“We are delighted to continue the tradition of LCIFF Commemorative Posters extraordinarily designed by local artists,” said Ross Marks, assistant professor in NMSU’s Creative Media Institute and executive director of the festival.

The public is invited. The $25 ticket price includes refreshments and an official poster signed by the artist, Christina Ballew, co-founder, managing partner and creative director of NMCO Media where she collaborates and directs a studio of animators, videographers and designers. Her body of work spans painting, murals, illustrations, graphic design, production and video direction.

As a special incentive, those who attend the poster party will have the opportunity to purchase VIP tickets to the film festival at a reduced price.

The festival selects outstanding short and feature length films, documentaries, student shorts and narratives of all genres from around the world as part of five days of festivities, workshops, after-parties and film screenings. Festival organizers hope the variety of events will attract film lovers, filmmakers and film students as well as the general public. VIP and filmmaker receptions are also part of the festival.
