NMSU Regents to meet May 22

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Building, at NMSU’s Las Cruces campus.


That same day, the Board of Regents will hold a closed executive session meeting at 10 a.m. in Corbett Center Room 204I. The closed executive session meeting will be held to discuss limited personnel matters, in accordance with NMSA Section 10-15-1 H(2) and of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

Additionally, a potential quorum of the Board of Regents will likely attend a welcome reception for Chancellor Designate Dan Arvizu and President Designate John Floros at the Aggie Lounge inside Corbett Center from 12:30-2:30 p.m., also on May 22. No votes or other official actions will be taken at this event.

In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, copies of the agenda for these meetings will be made available at NMSU’s Zuhl Library at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and is accessible on the public university website at https://regents.nmsu.edu/regent-meetings/.
