NMSU Career Services to host 14th annual Employment Extravaganza

New Mexico State University’s Career Services will host the 14th annual Employment Extravaganza Fair March 14. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Corbett Center, first floor on the NMSU campus.

With hundreds of candidates and more than 35 employers such as Molzen-Corbin & Associates, FNF Construction, ADP, Inc. (Automatic Data Processing), GEICO, Hobbs Police Department and Texas Lions Camp projected to attend this year, Employment Extravaganza allows candidates and employers to communicate on a personal and face-to-face basis. It provides opportunities for students to connect with potential employers and discover career information ranging from internships and co-ops, to summer or permanent, full-time positions. Employers still addressing staffing requirements in these areas are cordially invited to attend.

Students can learn about career opportunities for current and future positions. Freshmen through alumni are invited to participate. Employers will benefit from the interaction with top-notch talent from NMSU and all others who choose to attend. This event is open to NMSU students, alumni and the general public. Candidates do not have to pre-register.

“Employment Extravaganza is a venture to unite the students of New Mexico State University with employers in the state of New Mexico and regionally. Employers and candidates are encouraged to attend to maximize their networking opportunities. Candidates are also advised to bring their resume and dress appropriately,” said Amanda Madrid, Coordinator for the Cooperative Education and Internship Program with NMSU Career Services and Employment Extravaganza event coordinator.

Employers who would like to attend may register online in AggieCAREER Manager at careerservices.nmsu.edu. Questions, call 575-646-1631 or amandadg@nmsu.edu.
