NMSU Board of Regents to hold multiple meetings Nov. 7-8

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will hold multiple meetings, in both open and closed session, Nov. 7-8.


The NMSU Board of Regents and the Doña Ana Community College Advisory Board will hold a special work session meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Domenici Hall, Room 125, at 3014 McFie Circle, on the NMSU Las Cruces Campus.

The Board of Regents will then hold a closed executive session meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Hacienda de Mesilla, 1891 Avenida de Mesilla, in Mesilla, N.M. The closed executive session meeting will be held to discuss competitive proposals solicited pursuant to the procurement code in accordance with NMSA Section 10-15-1 H (6) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

The Board of Regents will hold a special work session meeting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Hadley Hall, Room 130, 2850 N. Weddell Drive, on the NMSU Las Cruces Campus.

Regents will hold a closed executive session meeting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Hadley Hall Room 130. The closed executive session meeting will be held to discuss limited personnel matters in accordance with NMSA Section 10-15-1 H (2) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

Regents will then hold a second, closed executive session meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Hadley Hall Room 130. This closed executive session meeting will be held to discuss the following: limited personnel matters; threatened or pending litigation; and the purchase, acquisition or disposal of real property or water rights in accordance with NMSA Section 10-15-1 H (2), (7) and (8) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

Regents will hold a special, open meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Building on the NMSU Las Cruces Campus, 1780 East University Ave.

In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, copies of the agenda for each of these meetings will be made available at NMSU’s Zuhl Library on the Las Cruces campus at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and accessible on the public university website at https://regents.nmsu.edu/agenda/.
