NMSU Board of Regents work sessions, executive session set for July 31-Aug. 1

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will hold a special work session meeting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, July 31, and from 8 to 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the University Center and Residence on the NMSU Las Cruces Campus.


Dinner will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on July 31 at La Posta, 2410 Calle De San Albino, Mesilla, N.M. Note, no business is to be discussed.

The Board of Regents will also hold a closed executive session meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the University Center and Residence on the NMSU Las Cruces Campus. The closed executive session meeting will be held to discuss limited personnel matters, pending or threatened litigation, and purchase, acquisition or disposal of real property or water rights, in accordance with NMSA Section 2 10-15-1 H (2), (7) and (8) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, copies of the agendas for these meetings will be made available at NMSU’s Zuhl Library on the Las Cruces campus at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and accessible on the public university website at https://regents.nmsu.edu/agenda/.

Individuals with a disability in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, should contact the Board of Regents Office at 575-646-5997 at least three days prior to the meeting, or as soon as possible.
