Homecoming activities will include reunions for the classes of 1957 and 1967, along with the Homecoming game day parade, the Celebration of Traditions Memorial Ceremony event honoring Aggie military veterans, a bonfire and pep rally, the Golden A’s luncheon, and the Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate.

Following the Aggie Shark Tank on Thursday, Oct. 26, in which student entrepreneurs pitch business ideas to the “Sharks” (local business executives), there will be a student, NMSU Foundation board member and Shark Tank member networking reception.

The Alumni Association’s annual dinner will be Friday, Oct. 27. The dinner will honor its 2017 recipients of the Distinguished Alumni and James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service. The Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for these awards.

To be considered, nominees must be a graduate of NMSU and available to attend Homecoming events. The James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service, established in 1966, recognizes those who have shown progressive support to NMSU, dedicated involvement with NMSU, impactful civic and humanitarian service at NMSU and within the communities around them, and notable professional service.
