One of the many festival events got underway on Monday, Jan. 9, with an eight-week intensive acting workshop coordinated by Priscilla Moralez, who is originally from Las Cruces but spent the last 16 years working in Los Angeles. An opportunity to interview Priscilla Moralez and students participating in the intensive acting workshop is available on Monday, Feb. 20 from 4-6 p.m. at the Las Cruces Bank of the West downtown.

Media passes to cover the festival and various events are available by emailing Michael Evans at michael@lciffest.com. Reporters/photographers should provide their name, their media outlet, their email and mobile contact number, the name of the publisher/general manager along with their email and contact number. Evans will confirm the information and issue a film festival press pass and include his mobile phone number in case any issues arise for media. He is also working to secure a pressroom for short interviews. Anyone wishing to interview a celebrity should request an interview ahead of time so Evans can coordinate with celebrity publicists.
