Dustin Chavez, president of the Associated Students of New Mexico State University will shadow NMSU President Garrey Carruthers, following him throughout the course of the day Friday, Oct. 9. The event is designed as a mentoring opportunity to allow a student leader to see the daily routine of the NMSU president. Chavez will have a chance to follow Carruthers to various events and meetings across campus for the day. Other shadowing opportunities for student leaders and senior NMSU leaders will take place later this school year.
