Teacher workshop at NMSU geared toward science and engineering in the classroom

Middle- and high-school teachers will learn how to identify and implement science and engineering practices using TI-Nspire handheld technology in a hands-on workshop offered by New Mexico State University. “Implementing Science and Engineering Practices with TI-Nspire Technology” will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10-12, on the NMSU campus in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Workshop goals are guided by the Next Generation Science Standards, with a focus on technology, engineering and mathematics. This short-course is sponsored by the Engineering New Mexico Resource Network and the College of Education at New Mexico State University, in cooperation with Texas Instruments.
