NMSU fall 2012 commencement to honor 1,442 graduates

WHERE: NMSU’s Pan American Center in Las Cruces
New Mexico State University’s fall 2012 commencement ceremonies will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at NMSU’s Pan American Center in Las Cruces. Of 1,442 students who filed bachelor’s and graduate degree applications this semester, approximately 1,000 are expected to participate in the ceremony. They will be joined by family, friends, the NMSU community and the public.
The single ceremony, projected to last about two hours, begins promptly at 10 a.m. at the Pan American Center on the Las Cruces campus.
No tickets are required for guests to attend commencement; seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion.
Media representatives covering the events should pick up a media pass in the Coordinating Center tent in Lot 32 east of the Pan American Center. Staff will be available at the tent throughout the ceremonies.
